解説
鯨の形をした鉛筆ホルダーです。
子供が大きくなり小学校を卒業し、鉛筆からシャープペンに
移行したため使いかけの鉛筆が残ってしまい、
捨てるには勿体ないけど大人の手には短いので
手作りの鉛筆ホルダーを考案した作品です。
今回の鯨の他に野菜の形の作品もあります。
作り方・構造は至って簡単。
２つのアルミ製鉛筆キャップに短くなった鉛筆を収め
外側をおがくず粘土もくねんさんで包み鯨の形にしました。
鯨の鉛筆ホルダーだから「えんぴつホェールダー」と命名。
気楽な気持ちで作ったわりには軽くて握りやすく
好きな生き物の姿をしているので愛着も湧いてくる作品になりました。
