 鯨と埴輪の融合作品「のぞくじら」

その大型作品です。
2019年秋「くじらまみれ（第１回）」にて出展した作品です。
展示ブースのシンボル的な目的で制作したものです。
造形としては未熟な完成度でしたが、来場者に作品意図が
分かり易い効果があったと思います。
2025年「くじらまみれ2025」にも再展示しました。

材料は、おがくず粘土もくねんさん のみ。仕上げも素材そのままです。
赤土の素焼き陶芸品に見えますが、焼き物ではありません。
粘土を天日乾燥させただけでこのような質感を出してます。

Description

"Nozokujira" is a fusion of a whale and a haniwa (clay figure).

This is a large-scale piece.
This piece was exhibited at the "Kujiramamire (1st)" event in the fall of 2019.
It was created as a symbol of the exhibition booth.
While the sculpture was not yet fully developed, I believe it helped visitors understand the intent of the piece.
It was also exhibited again at "Kujiramamire 2025" in 2025.

The only materials used are sawdust clay (Mokunensan). The finish is also left as is.
While it looks like a bisque-fired piece of red clay, it is not a fired piece.
This texture is achieved simply by sun-drying the clay.
